About a month ago I took a boater safety course and acquired my boaters license. I took the course with a friend near his river house so I could drive his little, 14 foot, 8hp, dingy around the river. When I got back from the trip it struck me. I liked boating, a lot. So a little google here and some goggle there I found myself dying for a boat. I spent hours on end filtering through BoatTrader.com and iBoats.com trying to find some little 16 foot, aluminum boat.
After a while, I realized, why the hell am I wasting my time looking for a boat when I don't have any money to buy it. It takes a descent amount of work but if you collect coins in small box, over time you can have hundreds of dollars in coins, but it doesn't stop there. Have you ever been to your local Giant or Safeway and near the checkout they have those Coinstars, well an idea hit me when I saw one. Use the Coinstars to make little 10 or 20 dollar gift certificates to iTunes or amazon or whatever gift cards you like... and sell them.
So far, by collecting coins I've made over three hundred dollars and I wasn't going to stop there when I had boats that cost millions of dollars, I kept going. Until I have enough money to buy that dinky litte 16 footer I won't stop. Never.
